Following the introduction of digital tickets, and the changes in technology, the Club’s Ticket Hub and Operations Teams have been working hard on implementing a new access control system at Easter Road.
The work took place over the September international break and will be implemented for this first time this weekend as we take on St Johnstone.

Supporters will no longer have to insert their Season Cards, tickets, or mobile phones into the scanner. All you have to do is hold up your ticket/phone towards the scanner, so it can scan the QR code.

Digital Ticket Access

Hibernian FC’s Head of Operations, Garry O’Hagan commented: “A lot of work has gone into improving the stadium’s access control, so it meets the need of our supporters.
“We’ve moved to front-facing scanners to ensure that supporters can quick and easy access to Easter Road whether they’re using a digital ticket, a physical ticket, or a Season Card.
“This new system should ensure a better, easier, and improved access route into the stadium for supporters on a matchday.”
