“It’s disappointing” said Chris Cadden as he reflected on Hibernian FC’s defeat to St Johnstone.

The right-back equalised in the 56th minute and sparked life into the Hibees, but a lapse in concentration from a corner late on in the match meant it was the away side walking away with the points.

Speaking to HibsTV at the end of the game, Chris said:

“It’s disappointing. It’s two poor goals that we lose.

“We made a lot of good chances in the game, but we were lacking in the final third.

“I thought the momentum shifted after our goal and it felt like there was only going to be one winner and we’re gutted.”

Hibs make a trip through to Motherwell next Saturday and will be looking to secure a place in the top half of the table.

‘Cadds’ is determined to put in a performance and ensure they can do all they can prior to the cinch Premiership split.

“We need to do what we can do. We need to win the game and get three points and hopefully that will be enough.

“That’ll be our mindset this week.”
