Hibs defender Will Fish was devastated at full-time as the Hibees suffered a late sucker-punch at Fir Park.

Shane Blaney’s last minute strike cancelled our Myziane Maolida’s second-half penalty – and with Dundee picking up a point at Pittodrie – it means we will play our final five games of the season in the bottom six.

Speaking to Hibs TV after the match, Will Fish explained how disappointed he was with the result.

“It is a sickening feeling right now. The lads are devasted in the changing room after the game.

“It has happened too many times this season that we have conceded too many goals late-on and thrown points away from winning positions.

“We only have ourselves to blame, we need to take a look at ourselves - it’ll take some time to process it, but this is far from where we wanted to be.”

Will went on to admit that this season has not been good enough and apologised to the fans for the teams recent performance on the pitch

“We should’ve had it wrapped up before now, a Club like Hibs shouldn’t be in this position. It’s hard to take right now, but we only have ourselves to blame.

“Everyone in there (the changing room) wants to apologise to the fans. The support they give us each week is incredible and we really do feel that. We’re devastated and we are sure it hurts the fans even more.

“It’ll take a few days to digest, we need to go away and look at ourselves and come back and play for pride in those last five games.”
