Shane Blaney scored a 94th minute equaliser to snatch a draw for Motherwell at Fir Park.
Blaney’s goal in the dying seconds cancelled out Myziane Maolida’s second half penalty.
Our draw, coupled with Dundee picking up a point at Pittodrie against Aberdeen, means we will now conclude our cinch Premiership campaign in the bottom six.
Nick Montgomery made two changes to his starting XI with Elie Youan and Nathan Moriah-Welsh returning to the side.
Adam Le Fondre dropped down to the substitutes' bench while Nectarios Triantis missed out altogether due to illness.

Hibs took to the field in an interchanged strip of purple shirts, white shorts and purple socks.
The Fir Park surface was bathed in sunshine at kick-off however the blustery and bitterly cold wind swirling around the park made for difficult playing conditions.
It would cause issues for both teams throughout the afternoon and it made for a cagey opening to the match as players struggled to adjust.
There wasn’t much to excite either set of supporters in the opening quarter-of-an-hour however teasing crosses from Jordan Obita and Martin Boyle did test Liam Kelly’s handling early on.
On 21 minutes, a Blair Spittal pass inside from the left channel found Jack Vale lurking outside our box, he set himself to test David Marshall in goal only for a brave block from Will Fish to thwart him.

Three minutes later and a good break saw Myziane and Emiliano link up on the edge of the Well box to create a shooting chance for Elie Youan, that he fired high and wide of goal.
Then, an angled strike from Chris Cadden had to be acrobatically tipped over the crossbar by Kelly before Myziane almost latched onto a dink over the top from Emiliano.
It had been a good period of attacking play from Hibs after growing into the match.
The wind was causing problems, highlighted in the ball holding up behind Myziane as he went through on goal and then Marshall dropping a cross as he tried to tip it over his crossbar.

Neither side made any changes during the break, and it was the hosts that carved out the first chance of the second half.
Lennon Miller’s threaded pass appeared to have played Theo Bair through on goal however he hesitated long enough for Rocky and Fish to get back and block his route to goal. He opted to lay it off to Miller who shot over.
Play was ebbing and flowing, and we were next to threaten when Moriah-Welsh’s driven cross found Myziane and his shot deflected off a Well defender and forced Kelly to palm it away for a corner kick.
Two minutes later and the Motherwell 'keeper was again called into action to keep out a powerful shot from Youan at his near post.
On the hour, Motherwell had the ball in our net as Bair raced through, drew Marshall and fired low past the goalkeeper - only for his celebrations to be cut short by the offside flag, with VAR backing up the decision.
Three minutes later, we were awarded a penalty kick when Fish was caught by Stephen O’Donnell as he collected a pass from Moriah-Welsh. Myziane was coolness personified as he sent Kelly the wrong way to dispatch his eighth goal in just four months with the Hibees.

Motherwell’s response was to make a triple change and one of their subs – Sam Nicholson – had an early chance to make his mark after driving inside off the flank, only to drag his shot wide.
We were soon back on the attack and should’ve increased our advantage when Youan was played in on the left, he had Boyle unmarked in the middle however he opted to go it alone and shot over the bar from close range.
Into the final ten minutes and we had another big chance when Cadden latched onto a lay-off from Emiliano only to be denied by Kelly at his near post.
Those misses would prove costly as Motherwell snatched an equaliser in the 94th minute when Blaney smashed an unstoppable shot beyond Marshall after we failed to clear a long throw into our area.
Incredibly, the home side could’ve won it seconds after the restart when Oli Shaw stabbed wide from just a couple of yards out and the goal at his mercy.
Our draw this afternoon, combined with Dundee’s stalemate at Aberdeen, ensures we will finish the campaign in the bottom six.
