Linzi Taylor believes it is on Hibernian to go on and "put in a performance" to overcome underdogs Dundee United on Wednesday (11 December) evening.
Suzy Shepherd's outfit have collected just one point this season and are currently bottom of the ScottishPower Women's Premier League, but Taylor is adamant the Hibees will be alert to the host's threat at Foundation Park.
While Hibs narrowly lost out at the weekend in the Scottish Cup to Hearts, United picked up their first competitive win of the campaign in their Third Round tie - with a late winner securing progression to the next round over third-tier Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
"We are obviously disappointed about the cup at the weekend," Taylor said.
"We’ve had a full day to feel sorry for ourselves but now it’s straight back to league business. So, our focus goes onto that.
"We have to focus on us and play to our strengths, try to play against their weaknesses. We need to have faith, and trust, in the team to go out and do the job. I have full faith in the team to get three points."
A frustrating slip-up - in the form of a goalless midweek draw - during our last visit to Foundation Park cost Grant Scott's side two points in August 2023.
While a 6-0 home victory this August over United - in which Taylor bagged her first two goals for the Club with a first-half brace - remains fresh in the mind, Scott and the team are aware of United's ability to snag a result on home turf.
"From a mentality point of view, we are focused on us," the midfielder declared.

"But we are not taking Dundee United lightly, we know they will try and take points from us. But we also have a job to get three points.
"We know they are not going to lie down to us, so it is up to us to put on a performance."
Questioned on her start to life in Green & White, Taylor revealed her delight at the Club following her summer move from divisional rivals Partick Thistle - but admitted there is always room for improvement on the park.
"For me, it’s been so enjoyable. We’ve got a great group in the changing room and fantastic management. It’s just putting everything together and getting it to click.
"We know there has been games where we haven’t performed to the standard we would’ve liked, which falls on us, ultimately.
"As the season grows, we are going to get stronger and stronger as a team."
