The Hibs forward came off the bench in the second half – with the Hibees 2-0 down – and made a massive impact, creating several chances and scoring the equalising goal at Rugby Park.

Speaking to Hibs TV after the match, he shared his thoughts on the overall performance.

“It was a difficult game today, because the opposition was so hard to play against. They put everything into the game and made it difficult for us to score goals in the first half.

“But we came out and played better in the second half and got it back to 2-2 in the end. We are a little bit disappointed with that because we wanted to win the game.”

Myziane’s introduction with half-an-hour to play made a huge difference, as we began to carve out several goalscoring opportunities in the closing stages of the game – scoring twice and pushing for a winning goal that unfortunately never came.

“The manager told me to push, to give my maximum and to help the team when I came on in the second half.

“I tried to cut inside and help the team and I feel I did that today.

“But I wanted to win this game and in the last 20 minutes of the game we had a lot of space and created chances. So I am a bit sad we didn’t win the game, but happy to help the team and score my first goal.

“This goal will help give me confidence, because it is my first for the Club. I just want to keep playing and keep getting better and better.”
