THE LOWDOWN

We are back in action this weekend as we take on St Mirren at Easter Road – kick-off at 3pm on Saturday 3 February, 2024.

Nick Montgomery’s side come into this one off the back of a 2-2 draw with Kilmarnock last time out.

The Hibees showed good character to fight back from 2-0 down, with Myziane Maolida and Joe Newell on target in the second half at Rugby Park.

That result means we currently it seventh in the cinch Premiership table, with 26 points from 22 matches.

The match is a designated Hibs Kids game, which means there will be plenty of activities going on around the Stadium on Saturday, and all Hibs Kids members can attend for free!

THE VISITORS

St Mirren currently sit fifth in the cinch Premiership, three points ahead of us but having played a game extra.

Stephen Robinson’s side have lost to both of the Old Firm since the turn of the year, but did progress in the Scottish Cup – beating Queen of the South 1-0 in the Fourth Round of the competition.

This will be the fourth meeting between the two sides this season, in a fixture that has promised goals. In total, 15 goals have been scored in the first three meetings between the teams.

The Saints got the better of us on the opening day of the season at Easter Road winning 3-2, before the Hibees bounced back with a 4-2 win in the Viaplay Cup in September.
