Leah Eddie spoke on her time away with the Scotland A squad, and preparations ahead of Rangers visit to Meadowbank on Sunday.

Eddie was called up by Pedro Martinez Losa for this year’s Pinatar Cup in Spain.

Although she didn’t make an appearance in the two games against the Philippines or Finland, she said new surroundings and new teammates helped her remain focused.

“I feel as if I can take a lot away from the nine days that we were away. Training alongside players that I’m not used to training with and competing in training – I feel like it went quite well. I can take lots of things away from it.”

Upon returning to HTC, Leah returned her focus to league business. With a visit of Rangers to Meadowbank tomorrow, she said the team studied the opposition and looked at their weaknesses.

“We’ve obviously had a little break and it came at an alright time for us. We’ve done our analysis on them and have hopefully seen where we can exploit them.”

“We’ve looked at things on our previous game that we needed to work on and put things right. Hopefully we can go and put a good performance in. "

On the previous game, played at Ibrox earlier in the campaign, Leah also admitted that the performance was not reflective of where the squad were at, and was keen to right some wrongs.

“We knew ourselves it wasn’t good enough the last time we played them, but it’s been a long time since we last played them, but we’ve worked on the things we’ve needed to and hopefully we can put in a good performance and get a result!”
