THE LOWDOWN

The Hibees return to Scottish Power Women’s Premier League action this weekend as they host Partick Thistle at Meadowbank Stadium on Sunday with the kick-off scheduled for 4:00pm.

Hibs head into Sunday’s match looking to bounce back after last Sunday’s Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup elimination at the hands of Rangers.

In the league, Grant Scott’s side currently sit 5th, three points behind Hearts in 4th and one point above Partick Thistle in 6th.

THE OPPOSITION

This will be the fourth meeting between the Hibees and the Jags this season – with Hibs yet to pick up a victory.

Arguably the most significant meeting between the two sides this season came on January 21st when Partick Thistle picked up a 2-0 win over Hibs in the Sky Sports Cup semi-finals, thus knocking the latter out of the competition. The elimination from the cup will give Grant Scott’s side plenty of motivation as they will be looking for revenge this Sunday.

Partick Thistle head into Sunday’s match knowing that a win would see them leapfrog the Hibees and take 5th spot in the league table.
