It is a busy week for David Gray’s First Team squad who travel to Tannadice for a midweek clash with Dundee United – read the match preview below.

THE LOWDOWN

It is another huge week for the Hibees with two massive William Hill Premiership fixtures, starting with a trip to Tannadice before the Edinburgh Derby on Sunday.

The Hibees come into the week full of confidence after an outstanding victory over Celtic at the weekend.

Josh Campbell bagged a brace in a 2-1 victory over the league leaders on Saturday afternoon to extend our unbeaten run to 13 matches (all comps).

The result kept us in fifth place in the table – moving up to 37 points, three points behind Wednesday’s opponents – Dundee United.

THE HOSTS

Dundee United also picked up an important three points at the weekend beating Motherwell at home (1-0) to bring to an end a four-match losing streak.

One player to watch out for is in-form striker Sam Dalby. The Wrexham loanee is the William Hill Premiership leading goalscorer with 12 goals from 24 games.

We’ve only taken one point from a possible six off Dundee United this season. Our last visit to Tannadice ended in disappointing fashion - losing 3-2 after conceding two goals in stoppage time. Jim Goodwin’s side scored late again in the reverse fixture at Easter Road in a 1-1 draw in November.
