There were several Hibees representing their respective nations across the globe over the international break! Find out how everyone got on below!

Kieron Bowie – Scotland

Kieron Bowie was called up to his first senior Scotland squad in June and made his international debut!

The Hibs striker topped off a rollercoaster season – which saw him battle back from a hamstring injury in the first half, before returning to full form towards the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Bowie was rewarded with a first call-up to Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad at the beginning of June, but he had to wait patiently for his chance.

The 22-year-old was an unused substitute as the Scots were beaten 3-1 by Iceland at Hampden Park, but earned his first cap three days later – coming off the bench to help Scotland to a comfortable 4-0 victory over Liechtenstein.

It was another memorable international camp for Martin Boyle and Lewis Miller who helped the Socceroos’ officially qualify for the 2026 World Cup!

Miller and Boyle started both crucial qualifiers against Japan and Saudi Arabia. The Socceroos beat Japan 1-0 in Perth to put them on the brink of qualification – before overcoming Saudi Arabia 2-1 in Jeddah to seal automatic qualification.

Australia came from behind to win, turning a 1-0 deficit on its head, with Martin Boyle providing a vital assist for Mitch Duke’s winning goal!

The result means Australia finished second in Group C with 19 points from 10 games – qualifying for their seventh World Cup in their history and their sixth consecutive World Cup in a row!
