Team news, head-to-head, form guide and more – read our Scottish Cup Quarter-Final preview as we take on Celtic!
THE LOWDOWN
This is the fifth meeting this season between Celtic and Hibs, and this time we’re meeting in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup; 3pm kick-off live on Premier Sports on Sunday.
We come into this fixture as the form team in Scottish football having lost just once in our last 18 outings in all competitions.
That defeat came at Celtic Park, back in December, but we have since beaten the Hoops 2-1 at Easter Road.

It was an incredibly positive week for David Gray last week as his side took nine points out of a possible nine, beating Celtic, Dundee United, and Hearts.
Now our attentions turn to the Scottish Cup, we progressed to the Quarter-Final stage having beaten Clydebank (3-0) at Easter Road, and Ayr United (1-0 away).
Victory in this one would see a trip to Hampden in the next round for the Semi-Finals.
TEAM NEWS
David Gray provided a full team news update ahead of the Celtic match when he spoke to the media on Thursday afternoon.
Joe Newell remains unavailable, whilst Hyeokkyu Kwon won’t be eligible to play against his parent club.
Our Head Coach is giving Warren O'Hora until the very last moment to prove his fitness. The centre-half came off against Hearts in our 2-1 victory.
THE HOSTS
Celtic come into this game off the back of two emphatic victories – scoring five against both Aberdeen (5-1) and St Mirren (5-2). Prior to those games, though, the Hoops fell to defeat against Hibs at Easter Road.
Celtic progressed into this stage of the competition after wins over Kilmarnock (2-1) and Raith Rovers (5-0). Both wins came at Parkhead.
The Hoops are the current Scottish Cup holders having won the trophy the last two seasons. Their last defeat in the competition was in April 2022 when they were beaten in the Semi-Finals by Rangers.
We’ve played Brendan Rodgers’ side on four different occasions this season, and they have come out on top in three of those winning 2-0, 3-1, and 3-0.
