We are delighted to announce that Tegan Bowie has signed a two-year contract extension with Hibernian Women FC!
The 21-year-old has extended her stay with the Club until 2027 after playing a crucial role in our ScottishPower Women’s Premier League success.
Tegan was pivotal to our title triumph, starting 26 of her 29 league appearances while providing five goals and six assists in the league.
Developed in the Hibs Girls Academy, Tegan then moved to Celtic; helping the Hoops to a second-place finish during the 2020/21 season before securing her first senior Scotland squad call-up in November 2021.
The winger re-joined Hibs in June 2023, becoming the fourth summer signing of returning Head Coach Grant Scott, and has gone on to make 65 appearances in total across two seasons as an essential member of our squad.

After signing on for two more years, Tegan said: “I'm delighted. It was never in doubt that I was going to sign. I'm just very happy.
“We have a good group of staff here that drive us to be better every day. It helps massively."
Hibs Women Head Coach Grant Scott added: “We’re delighted to secure Tegan for another two years. She’s an exciting player who brings real attacking flair and freedom to our squad, the exact kind of player I like in my teams.
“I’d challenge her for more goals and assists but her long-term aim should be the Scotland ‘A’ Squad, that’s how good she is.
“Despite being around for ages, she’s still one of the best young talents in Scotland, so it’s brilliant that she’s staying here at Hibs.”
