✅ Here to compete.
Biography
A Gunner no more.
Imposing goalkeeper Matt Macey joined us in January 2021 on a deal that will initially run until the end of the season, and made an impressive debut in a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park.
Back in 2013 Arsenal fought off fierce competition to sign Matt who, at that stage, was a highly-rated young prospect on the books of Bristol Rovers.
Loan spells with Accrington Stanley, Luton Town and Plymouth Argyle complemented a first-class education with the English Premier League giants, for whom he made two senior appearances and collected an FA Cup winners' medal.
He arrives in Edinburgh determined to make a name for himself.
