Dynamic and driven.
Making her green and white debut in 2021 and scoring against her former club, Michaela McAlonie quickly wowed Hibernian supporters with her penchant for defence-splitting passes and endless runs into the penalty box.
Starting her career at Ainslie Park with Spartans, McAlonie has always been a fan favourite in Edinburgh. Her outward personality and infinite levels of energy both on and off the field ensured she was a perfect fit when she made the move slightly eastwards.
At only 21 years of age, Michaela has already shown herself to be an excellent leader on the pitch. Always thinking about the next pass or the next tackle, her exploits are never too far away from the post-match conversation.
With an impressive number of international caps at youth level and form that never seems to falter, McAlonie’s name is surely one that Scotland boss Pedro Martínez Losa is keeping an eye on.
