When you Google ‘Baptism of Fire’ - the definition should read ‘Nina Wilson’. The last thing the English-born shot-stopper was expecting might have been the way in which she quickly endeared herself to her new set of fans.
Coming on midway through the first half of the season opener against Glasgow City, denying the league’s top goal scorer from the spot in the second half, and pulling off sublime saves and stops, that’s some way to announce yourself to a new set of supporters!
Nina can certainly offer Hibernian a varied and qualified CV, having played for some top clubs in her homeland before moving north of the border.
