Biography
In January 2022, Rocky joined the Hibees.
After an initial six month loan spell with the Hibees, Rocky signed a three year deal with the Club in the summer of 2022.
Born in Duffel, Belgium, on 30 November 1999, Rocky joined the K.V. Oostende’s Academy in 2012 after impressing in a tournament. Five years later, he signed his first professional contract, and shortly after he made his professional debut.
On 9 December 2017, the centre-back became the youngest-ever debutant for K.V. Oostende in a 1-0 loss to KV Mechelen in the Belgian top-flight.
The following season, 2018/19, Rocky featured regularly in the Belgian First Division A for Eupen making 33 appearances, with eight of those coming in the Europa League play-offs.
It was during that time when Bushiri was called up to Belgium’s Under-21s. Building on the two caps he received in 2017, the strong defender made seven caps and featured against the likes of France, Italy and Germany.
His impressive performances led to a transfer to Norwich City, before three loan spells back in Belgium followed.
