Biography
One to watch.
Hibernian Academy graduate Ryan Shanley's progress was rewarded with a first-team debut in the 3-0 win over St Mirren early in the 2020-21 campaign.
The cousin of former Hibernian favourite Derek Riordan, Ryan can operate as a number nine or out wide.
He impressed during a loan spell with Civil Service Strollers in the first half of the 2019-20 campaign, before the coronavirus pandemic cut short a stint at Forfar Athletic.
In December 2020, in a bid for regular first-team football to accelerate his development, he joined Kelty Hearts on loan and has enjoyed a bright start with the Lowland League promotion hopefuls.
