As Academy Director, Gareth Evans is paving the way for young talent to progress into the Hibs First Team.

Evans has a long history with the Club. He was a fans’ favourite during his playing days making 301 appearances, scoring 38 goals, and lifting the League Cup in 1991. Now in his second spell at Hibs as a coach, he originally joined as Head of Youth and has progressed ever since playing a vital role in helping develop young players into the First Team set-up.

Alongside his history with Hibs, he has also coached Scotland’s youth national teams (both men and women) at four UEFA age group final tournaments, and worked in First Team coaching with Alloa, Brechin and Livingston.
