Intimidating Between the Posts 

An experienced pair of hands between the sticks - Fraine quickly established herself as one of the SWPL’s most feared goalkeepers thanks to her commanding presence and intimidating persona on the field.  

Having picked up youth caps for the USA in her youth, Katie has played alongside some of the greatest figures in women’s football. Also eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland, she played her trade across multiple teams in Scandinavia, before finally making the hop to Leith. 

Saving the team on countless occasions in numerous matches since her arrival in the summer, Fraine’s early season contributions have helped the team maintain their fight for a top-four finish.  

Never one to shy away from giving her teammates a few, loud words of encouragement too, she’s a real asset to have when the team is right up against it.
