Kirsten Reilly returned to Hibs Women on a two-year deal in June 2024!
A Musselburgh native, Reilly was raised in a Hibernian supporting family. After migrating to the USA to study and play with the University of West Alabama Tigers between 2013 and 2016.
Following her successful stint across the pond, the midfielder would play for Hearts and the University of Stirling before signing for her beloved Hibees.
Between 2018 and 2019, Reilly would win the Scottish League Cup twice – getting on the scoresheet in our 9-0 victory over Celtic in the 2018 final – and the Scottish Cup once.
She would also help the team secure UEFA Women’s Champions League football by finishing second-place in the league.
A short stint with Bristol City down south preceded a move to Rangers in 2020. It was with the Glasgow club Reilly would win her first Scottish Women’s Premier League title, helping the Gers to an unbeaten league season.
She would return to England with Crystal Palace in the FA Women’s Championship. Another league winners’ medal would be secured in her second season in London as the Eagles soared to the topflight.
Her Hibernian homecoming was certainly special, with Reilly a vital part of Hibs Women’s SWPL title-winning side. She appeared 33 times for the Club across the 2024/25 season, scoring four goals and often captaining the side – including on the final day against Rangers at Ibrox.
