Bio

Hibs Girls Academy graduate Kirsty Morrison recently penned a new deal to remain with the Club until Summer 2027!

After spending years in the Academy, Morrison was granted her first senior appearance by Grant Scott in February 2019 versus Spartans.

She went on to net her first goals for the Club just two months later in a dominant league victory over Forfar Farmington.

In her first season in senior football, Morrison played 95 minutes in our SWPL Cup Final penalty shoot-out triumph over Glasgow City to earn the first winners’ medal of her senior career.

In January 2024, the attacker made her 100th appearance for Hibs in a Scottish Cup encounter versus Rangers – captaining the team for the occasion – and has now surpassed 125 showings in green and white.

Morrison would play a pivotal role in our 2024/25 Scottish Women’s Premier League title success, scoring four goals at key points of the campaign – including a heroic last-minute winner against Glasgow City in the first post-split game of the season at Petershill Park.

She would also start and stand out on the final day of the campaign as the Hibees sealed the title in dramatic fashion at Ibrox over Rangers.

The versatile forward has also played many times at youth level for Scotland, including several appearances at Under-17 and Under-19 level.
