Bio

Lauren Doran-Barr has extended her stay with the Club until the summer of 2026!

Starting her career in the Rangers academy, ‘LDB’ made her senior debut in an Scottish Women’s Premier League clash against Stirling University on 29 May 2016.

Coincidentally, after leaving the Glasgow club two years later, Doran-Barr would sign for Stirling University in May 2018. In her first match for Stirling University – listed as a trialist – she scored in a 2-0 victory over Rangers.

Doran-Barr would continue with Stirling University throughout her studies there, gaining invaluable experience at a young age in the SWPL.

A move to Motherwell would materialise in 2019, with the flying full-back quickly becoming a key member of the North Lanarkshire club’s squad. A long-term injury ruled her out for the 2020/21 season, but LDB excelled the following season – making 28 appearances in total.

Doran-Barr became Grant Scott’s fifth summer signing at Hibs Women upon his return to the Club during the summer of 2023.

LDB has made 68 appearances and scored four goals across two seasons with the Hibees – playing an equal 34 games and netting twice in each campaign she has played in green and white so far.

After recovering from an injury niggle at the beginning of the 2024/25 season, Doran-Barr proceeded to start the remainder of Hibs Women’s 30 matches across all competitions from 22 September 2024 as they reached the Sky Sports Cup Final and lifted their first SWPL title in 18 years.

LDB has represented Scotland from a very young age, and has earned youth caps into the double digits across multiple age groups.
