A summer arrival, Lauren’s tireless energy down the flanks quickly singled her out as a real fan-favourite since joining from Motherwell.  
 
Capable of playing as a fullback as well as a more advanced wingback on either flank ‘LDB’ made herself known in her first start for Hibs, coming in our first league victory of the season – contributing greatly to the 4-1 result. Her performance in the 2-1 derby victory against Hearts, played at Easter Road, also singled herself out for extended praise. 
 
Her first goal for the club came in our massive 7-0 victory against Dundee United in the SWPL Cup – making sure to attract all the plaudits on the occasion by scoring in the 90th minute. 
 
Starting her career at Rangers – she transferred to Stirling University, before eventually making the move to Motherwell in 2019. After suffering an unfortunate season-ending injury in 2020 – she became one of the first names on the ‘Well team sheet upon her return – something she’s looking to replicate once again.
