Bio
Linzi Taylor capped off a terrific first season in green and white by scoring the all-important goal that ensured we won our first Scottish Women’s Premier League title in 18 years!
The versatile midfielder, who is more than capable of playing in the backline, started her senior career with Celtic in 2011.
Taylor would then go on to travel the globe while playing, with her first step abroad taking her to the USA – where she would have a football scholarship at the University of Tennessee Southern.
A brief stint back in Scotland with Kilmarnock would precede a move to Israeli side FC Ramat HaSharon for Taylor. She lifted the Israeli Cup with the team, before moving to Cypriot outfit Lefkothea Nicosia.
A final move abroad came with Icelandic club Vikingur, before Taylor moved back to Scotland once more to sign on with Partick Thistle.
She made 84 appearances with the Jags, scoring 13 times, in two seasons at Petershill Park.
Joining up with Grant Scott’s side in June 2024, Taylor would immediately become an integral part of our title-winning team.
Starting off as an attacking midfielder, Taylor would score a brace on her first Hibs start versus Dundee United, before quickly dropping deeper and deeper in the Hibs team before holding her own as a centre-back for the majority of the campaign.
Taylor would write herself into Hibs folklore by scoring a terrific winner on the final day of the 2024/25 season versus Rangers at Ibrox to secure a historic SWPL title for the Club.
The experienced pro also earned two international youth caps, playing alongside Siobhan Hunter, Claire Emslie and Caroline Weir for Scotland Under-15s against Germany.
