Set Piece Specialist  

Signed from Nottingham Forest in the summer after making over 60 appearances across two seasons for The Reds, Powell’s adaptability, and creativity when it comes to set pieces meant that she quickly became a threat from dead-ball situations. 

Countless corners have resulted in important goals in crucial matches so far this season thanks to Naomi’s ingenuity - from our first Edinburgh Derby win of the season to our big wins against Hamilton and St Johnstone. Currently leading the assists charts at the club– in part to her dead-ball specialism – but also because of her terrific passing ability, she’s an important player as we look to push in the final parts of this season. 

Graduating from university in 2019 and moving to the UK not long after, it’s probably fair to say she’s found her feet since crossing the Atlantic. Usurping the role of player chef after matches, she’s not too bad with her hands either!
