Libero Lawson 

Arriving from Manchester United in the summer of 2022 and signing her first professional contract in the process - Poppy Lawson’s development has come on leaps and bounds since her arrival in Leith. 

Captaining the Red Devil’s U-21 side at a mere 18 years of age, Lawson is a natural born leader amongst many like-minded individuals at Hibernian - and with a penchant for long range strikes - she has popped up on the scoresheet on occasion in important matches. 

With a season and a half of Scottish football already under her belt, she has formed a formidable defensive partnership with Leah Eddie of late. Having played 21 games across the league so far this season; keeping a clean sheet every other game on average - the 20-year-old could be at the heart of Hibernian’s defence for seasons to come yet.
