A lifelong Hibee, Shannon Leishman made her Hibernian debut versus Rangers in 2014 and has gone on to become one of our most decorated — and longest-serving — stars. 

Capable of crossing with deadly accuracy or cutting inside with neat precision, the lightning quick wing-back is capable of putting in a shift on either flank.

Leishy was the last outfield player to find the net for Hibs in the 2023/24 season – scoring in a 5-0 victory over Motherwell in January. That tidbit would not have bothered the 27-year-old too much however, given her exemplary assist rate and selfless nature when attacking down the wings. 

Leishman reached 150 Hibernian appearances last season and has won four domestic cups in green and white in that time, as well as participating in the UEFA Champions League for her childhood club. 

An invaluable asset to the club, Leishy signed a one-year contract extension with the Club in the summer until the summer of 2025.
