Bio
Tegan Bowie joined the Hibees in June 2023!
The speedy winger started her career at Hibs in the Girls Academy before securing a move to Celtic.
She won many plaudits in Glasgow as she impressed in Fran Alonso’s squad both domestically and in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Bowie made her professional debut during the 2020/21 season after initially joining Celtic in 2018. She made 17 appearances and scored once as the Hoops finished second-place in the Scottish Women’s Premier League – their highest ever finish up to that point.
After breaking through at Celtic, Grant Scott opted to make a move for the attacker, bringing her back to Hibs in June 2023.
In her first season back in the capital during the 2023/24 campaign, Bowie immediately became a First Team regular. She made 31 appearances in total across the year and became an instant hit with the Hibees faithful.
She would follow up her strong second start in EH7 with a superb second season showing as Hibs Women lifted the SWPL title in the 2024/25 season.
Bowie’s five goals and 10 assists, alongside her extraordinary work-rate, were crucial to the Hibees’ title success. She played every single game in all competitions for the Club until the final three matches of the season, which she was unfortunately ruled out for due to injury.
On the international stage, Bowie has played for Scotland across multiple youth teams. She has made over 10 appearances at Under-17 level and most recently performed for the Under-23s.
She has also received a call-up to the ‘A’ Squad in the past, but is yet to make her senior Scotland debut.
